Bal started her career as a Product Development Chemist at the SCJohnson Research & Development Center in Egham, UK. After 10 years, she joined Firmenich in London, as the very first Project Manager, leading the team responsible for coordinating all internal sales activities at the Firmenich London office.
In September 2003, Bal and her husband embraced an opportunity to move to the United States. After a 6-month sabbatical, helping her two young boys acclimate into their new environment, Bal returned to Firmenich as a Project Manager.
Bal’s previous successes in project management proved invaluable to the US Firmenich team. Bal was promoted to an Account Manager and now manages several key North American clients for the Body Home Care Perfumery Division.
Another noteworthy mention is Bal's involvement in SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids), a sister program of STEM.
