Charisse Ford is Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Estée Lauder. In her current role, Charisse is responsible for spearheading global product and consumer marketing for the brand’s skincare, makeup and fragrance categories. Additionally, Charisse leads the Digital and Consumer relationship marketing efforts to create integrated experiences across all consumer touchpoints.

Charisse has had a key role in growing Estée Lauder’s skincare business. She spearheaded the hugely successful launch of Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex – the biggest global launch in the brand’s and the Company’s history. Charisse also created innovative 360 degree marketing programs for the Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Collection and the Double Wear foundation franchise.

Charisse joined The Estée Lauder Companies in 2005, after holding marketing positions at Avon Products, Sara Lee Corporation and Kraft Foods. She most recently served as Vice President, Global Marketing, Skincare and Face, Estée Lauder since 2007, after having served as Executive Director, Global Makeup Marketing, Estée Lauder since 2005.

As the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Lancôme in the U.S., Silvia Galfo brings her worldwide vision and beauty expertise to the iconic luxury beauty brand. In this position, which she was promoted to in 2012, Galfo implements global marketing initiatives and leads U.S. specific product development to ensure Lancôme’s leadership in the prestige beauty category.

Lancôme and its parent company, L’Oréal Paris, has been Ms. Galfo’s professional home for 14 years. In 2000, and prior to joining Lancôme in the U.S., Ms. Galfo was with the L’Oréal Paris brand in the global headquarters in Paris. There, she developed initiatives in both makeup and skincare, directing pillar product launches—from concept and positioning through packaging development, advertising and pricing strategies. Ms. Galfo transitioned to the prestige market in 2005, as the Vice President of Marketing for Lancôme color cosmetics, the #1 luxury beauty brand, also in the global headquarters in Paris. There, Ms. Galfo oversaw the creation and development of bestselling makeup launches, including Teint Miracle Makeup, Hypnôse Drama Mascara and L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolor. Shortly after, Ms. Galfo moved to the U.S., quickly establishing her understanding of the brand’s global footprint by overseeing a series of major product launches, including the Color Design 5 Pan Palettes—a strategic launch that took Lancôme US to the #1 position in eye makeup.

In her current role, which now encompasses all categories, including skincare, fragrance, cosmetics and digital marketing, Ms. Galfo filters every launch through the lens of Lancôme’s “French touch” coupled with an American sensibility. Case in point: the successful relaunch of Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation. Already a bestseller, its shade renovation—done with the guidance of L’Oréal’s Women of Color team—reinvigorated the franchise and helped recruit a more diverse customer. Within the skincare segment, Ms. Galfo helped propel the launch of Génifique Eye Light-Pearl and its innovative applicator to the top of the sales chart. Ms. Galfo elevated the launch of Lancôme’s first new fragrance in years, La vie est belle, to bestselling status, maximizing the collaboration with ambassadress Julia Roberts.

Born and raised in Germany to Italian parents and educated in Germany and France, Ms. Galfo’s multilingual background has clearly helped her cross cultures and borders to make Lancôme the ultimate French beauty experience worldwide. Ms. Galfo resides in downtown New York City, is an avid traveler, practices yoga and has an awe-inspiring designer shoe collection.

As the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Shiseido Cosmetics America, Tomoko Yamagishi-Dressler’s leadership has driven significant growth for the company’s skincare and suncare categories within the United States market, ranking Shiseido within the top 5 skincare brands according to NPD. This year, Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler returned to New York following a two year appointment in Tokyo where she successfully managed global skincare marketing as Group Leader in the Shiseido International Marketing Department, developing new product launch plans and promotions. In her current role as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler oversees marketing, global e-commerce initiatives, and product education for Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté.

Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler began her career at Shiseido in 2000 as the Director of Marketing. Two years later, in 2002, she was promoted to Executive Director, managing marketing for the Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, and qiora brands. In 2004, Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler became Vice President of Marketing, and added sales promotion to her roster of responsibilities.

Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler’s extensive experience draws from both the beauty and the financial worlds. Prior to joining Shiseido, she was Marketing Manager at Victoria’s Secret Beauty where she was instrumental in the launch of the Dream Angels fragrance franchise. Within the prestige market, she also oversaw skincare, makeup and fragrance marketing at Chanel Beauté. Before joining the beauty industry, Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler was employed at Lehman Brothers in Tokyo as Vice President of Fixed Income, marketing financial products to top institutional clients in Japan..

Educated at Keio University in Tokyo, Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Law. In the United States, she attended Harvard University’s world renowned Business School obtaining a Masters in Business Administration. Ms. Yamagishi-Dressler presently resides in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and two children and is an active member of the industry organization, Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW).
