Eligible entries must demonstrate that measurable step changes have been implemented within the past 3 years.

The criteria for this award are based upon the below science-based sustainability principles1 promoted by The Natural Step. The CEW Eco Beauty Award recognizes brands that are seeking to reduce their impact on the issues described below and by doing so become more sustainable.

How Are Eco Entries Scored? Brands will be scored on a scale of 1-5 on how they have implemented measurable change through the lens of each sustainability principle on the chart. It’s important that you provide us with as much information as possible on the chart submission form as finalists will be ranked from the top highest scores.
