Who are CEW’s members?

CEW’s membership is made up of 8,000 professionals—women and men—from all career levels in the beauty industry. Our members represent over 2,250 companies in the beauty industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, publishers, retailers and related industries.

How much is the CEW membership?

CEW membership is $195.00 and is renewed annually.

How do I join CEW?

You may purchase a membership online by clicking the Join CEW link. Simply create a profile and join. If you have any questions, please call Member Services at 646-929-8072.

How do I renew my membership?

Login to your account with your user name (email address) and password, and then click the “Renew Membership” link on the left. If you have forgotten your password please click on the “Forgot Your Password” link to reset it.

How can I check my membership expiration date?

Login to your CEW account, then, on the left-hand side of the page, click on the “Membership” link under “My Transactions”. Your CEW membership starts the day you join and expires one year from the active date. For example, if you joined on January 30, 2014, your membership lasts until January 31, 2015.

Can you send me a copy of the member directory?

CEW’s member directory is available only online via CEW Member Connect, CEW’s social media hub for members. To access the member directory please click the “Member Connect” link on the menu bar and login with your user name (email address) and password. Once you are on the CEW Member Connect site click on “Member Directory”.

How do I get listed in the business resources?

Is my membership transferable? May I cancel my membership?

A membership belongs to the individual whose name under which it is registered and is not transferable. Memberships cannot be transferred to another person within the same company; nor can a membership be transferred if the originating member is no longer at the company that activated the membership. A membership may not be cancelled for any reason.

Can my employer pay for my membership?

Yes. Please check with your individual employer.

If my boss is a member, can I get the member rate at CEW events?

Member rates for event tickets are available only to members.

Can I purchase a ticket for a friend or colleague for a CEW members-only event?

Yes, however that individual must be a member of CEW in order to attend a members-only event

I am currently searching for a position in the beauty industry. How will I benefit from a CEW membership?

In addition to the networking events CEW hosts, CEW also offers a number of online resources to help boost your career and keep you informed. Visit CEW’s Beauty Career Center to search for job opportunities and for career tips. Use the online mentoring program CEW MentorMatch, to find a mentor and receive career insights and advice. You can also connect with any CEW member via CEW Member Connect, our social media hub exclusively for CEW members.

If I am unemployed and my membership is about to expire, will CEW extend my membership?

Yes, through our Member Benefactor Fund, CEW will extend your membership one time, for six months at no cost if your membership is due to expire. Please call Member Services at 646-929-8072.

Can I have more than one e-mail address associated with my CEW membership?

Yes, you may have more than one e-mail address associated with your account, but only one may be your primary e-mail address to use to log-in to your account.
