Fragrance Supplier: In House
Inspired by the legendary life of a historic emperor celebrating strength, power and success, Aventus disrupted the niche fragrance category when it launched in 2010. This legendary scent has since become a universal cult-favorite and the ultimate statement of status. Nearly ten years later, The House of Creed debuts its new companion, Aventus Cologne. Aventus Cologne is a new universal legend that perfectly complements its counterparts, while providing an expressive and unconventional experience entirely of its own. The woody fresh scent opens with bright ginger, mandarin and rosebay. The earthy heart notes include patchouli, Indian sandalwood and vetiver. The fragrance finishes with base notes styrax, birch, musk and tonka bean.
The bottle itself was designed in partnership with Pochet de Courval, the nearly 400-year-old luxury glass bottle maker outside of Paris and the House of Creed’s long-time collaborator and created with their signature handcrafted process. The Aventus Cologne gray leather packaging contrasts yet compliments the iconic Aventus and Aventus for Her bottles and is topped with Creed’s essential finishing touch: the hand-stamped cap with the coveted Creed plume.

The House of Creed is one of the world’s oldest, privately owned fragrance houses passed down from father to son for more than 250 years, spanning seven generations. Based out of Paris today, each scent is weighed, mixed, macerated and filtered all by hand in the highest tradition of the House’s founder, James Creed. Today, Sixth Generation and Master Perfumer Olivier Creed and his son, Erwin Creed, carry on the craft from their Parisian laboratory continuing the art of Creed’s perfume making—a timeless, yet modern take on history, bottled.
