AmorePacific Chairman Suh Kyung-bae has hired his eldest daughter, Suh Min-jung, as an entry-level employee at the company’s Beauty Campus in Osan, South Korea. The move is regarded as the beginning of the company’s long-awaited third-generational succession.

On Monday, the 25-year old began her new role as a member of the skin care (SC) manufacturing technology team, which oversees operating manufacturing facilities for skin care products.

A spokesperson for AmorePacific said, “Like her father, the junior Suh will work at a manufacturing division, a fundamental of the cosmetics industry, to succeed our company’s core value of quality first, which was emphasized by founder Suh Sung-whan.”

Prior to her new positon, the younger Suh worked at Bain & Company, a global consulting firm, for over a year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University.
