Elizabeth Arden brand President, JuE Wong, is set to keynote at the upcoming Asian American Business Roundtable [AABR] in Las Vegas. The beauty executive will join a prominent group of industry influencers to address global business challenges and help foster Asian American leadership in the US. The summit, “Taking Risks and Changing the Game”, is to be held at The Venetian on January 29 through January 30.

Keynoting the “Retaining High Ability Women Innovators: Tapping into an Underutilized Resource” program session, JuE will share her insights and experiences for how high-achieving Asian women are contributing to the creation of idea-building environments, and successfully changing the business landscape. She joins a prominent group of global industry leaders, including Mehmood Khan, Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer, Global R&D, PepsiCo; Phyllis Campbell, Chairman, Pacific Northwest, JPMorgan Chase; Peter Lee, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft; and Maggie Hsu, Chief of Staff to Tony Hsieh, Zappos.

While aware of AABR for some time, this is the first time JuE has been affiliated with the group.

“I’m honored to be speaking and am looking forward to the round table in January,” she said, adding that her speech will focus on retaining high ability women innovators.

“I plan on sharing my experiences as a minority and woman; both have shaped me and how I navigated my career. I’ll probably also touch on what I would do the same and would I would do differently. I hope that sharing what I’ve learned through my personal experiences will help the audience not only retain their top talent, but also help them with their own careers,” JuE said.

Born and raised in Singapore, JuE has become an influential woman in the beauty industry. As President of the Elizabeth Arden Brand, she is responsible for the company’s entire brand portfolio, including skin care brands Ceramide, Prevage and Elizabeth Arden PRO; fragrance brands Red Door and 5th avenue; and makeup franchises Flawless Finish, Beautiful Color and Ceramide. Prior to Elizabeth Arden, JuE was CEO of StriVectin and Astral Brands, and held several leadership positions for brands including N.V. Perricone M.D. Cosmeceuticals and Murad. In 2004 she was a nominee for the Wall Street Journal’s “Top 50 Women to Watch” and in 2011 was an honoree at the 6th Annual Who’s Who in Asian American Communities (WWAAC).

JuE cites CEW, C200 [committee of 200] and IWF [International Women’s Forum] as instrumental in building her career.

“These organizations harness the power of motivated and successful women to help promote global leadership and career growth amongst both members and the next generation of female leaders,” she said.

She added that she is passionate about her work with the American Heart Association and YMCA.

“Working with these two charities has inspired and energized me to be a better leader.”
