On Wednesday night hundreds of beauty executives gathered at The Union League Club to hear Mike George, CEO of Qurate Retail Group, talk about the newly merged company, which include eight businesses (QVC, HSN and Zulily among them) and what this means for beauty. Moderated by WWD’s Jenny B. Fine, the event kicked off with cocktails and networking, followed by a Q&A, which delved into how Qurate serves its 23 million customers, which generate $14 billion in annual sales.
