Casey Holmes Partners with Physicians Formula for New Items
Physician’s Formula is set to launch its first-ever influencer collaboration with Casey Holmes on January 4 in partnership with Ulta Beauty. Casey, who has 1.7 million followers on YouTube, 1 million on Instagram and about 500,000 followers on her blog channel, collaborated with the brand on an assortment of palette shades for face, eyes and lip. Casey has been a big fan of the brand’s Butter collection since its launch in 2016, and Physicians Formula saw an organic fit with the influencer in collaborating on new Butter items. “Beauty fans are smart and they know when a partnership is honest. Her authenticity, genuine love for the product, and ability to connect to her fanbase made this partnership a no-brainer,” said Alice Chen, Vice President of Marketing, Physicians Formula & Head of Corporate Communications, Markwins International. “Casey was involved in every step of the product development process: from testing the formula to choosing and color-matching shades to naming each property to providing input on the look-and-feel of the palette.”

“I’ve been using the Butter Bronzer forever. I’m always talking about it and the highlighters,” Casey said, adding that formulas “are different from anything else,” especially in a drug store setting. “It just melts into your skin, and it smells like summer”. The limited-edition Physicians Formula Butter Collection X Casey Holmes Palette features a bevy of Butter essentials including Butter Bronzer, Butter Blush and Butter Highlighter, along with new introductions, Butter Lip Cream and Butter Eyeshadow shades. Butter Paradise Eau de Toilette is back to make the set complete. It will be launching at physiciansformula.com Friday and will be coming soon to Ulta and Ulta.com.

The Butter franchise continues to be the brand’s top franchise and has maintained the #1 bronzer spot at mass since its launch. “We have a robust plan to continue to expand Butter, and this collaboration is a way for us to leverage our award-winning formulas with Casey’s expertise to bring in new fans of the line,” said Alice.
