Beauty with Benefits started with a simple idea—asking beauty brands if they would donate products to be sold on QVC, in support of Cancer and Careers. The result was a groundswell.

The landmark event, Beauty with Benefits, turns 10 this year with stats no one could have predicted: more than 1.85 million units donated.  Over $14.5 million raised. Hundreds of companies involved. Hundreds of thousands of patients and survivors impacted.

“When Beauty with Benefits first launched in 2013, we were hopeful,” said Cancer and Careers Executive Director Rebecca Nellis. “But there was no way of knowing what this event would turn out to be—and what it would mean to every program and service we offer to help survivors in the workplace. Our partnership with QVC, and now HSN, has changed everything.”

Beauty with Benefits owes its success to industry-wide participation—and QVC and HSN’s massive ability to showcase it. This year’s digital and on-air campaign will feature more than 55 prestige brands as part of a large and exciting collection of skin care, hair care, nail care, fragrance and color cosmetics. Shoppers will find 10-year legacy donors IT Cosmetics, Josie Maran, Laura Geller, Mally Beauty, Perricone, philosophy and tarte—as well as a crop of Indie newcomers, including BeautyStat, Iconic London, Klorane, Lovinah Skin Care, LYS Beauty, Viking Beauty Secrets and Yensa.

The annual gift with purchase is an added incentive to shop. This year’s 10-piece, 10th Anniversary beauty box collection has a minimum value of $180*. Brands such as Tula, Wen and Nakery Beauty, in addition to other surprises, can be found inside while supplies last.  QVC and HSN will offer different boxes, enticing customers to shop both platforms.

“Beauty with Benefits embraces the power of giving back and we continue to be inspired each year by the generosity of the beauty industry and the commitment to support such a worthwhile cause,” said Bridget Love, Vice President/General Merchandise Manager of Beauty and Fashion at HSN. “We are joining forces with more than 50 top beauty brands in support of one mission, and we are excited to celebrate all of the people and products that have helped make this milestone possible.”

Beauty With Benefits 2022 Mally RoncalThis year’s spokeswoman is Mally Roncal, the celebrity make-up artist, beauty newsmaker and Founder of Mally Beauty. Mally brings her vibrant spirit and a deep connection to the cause after losing her mother to breast cancer.

“Knowing all of the challenges that companies faced this year, the heartfelt support for this event really sends a message,” said Rebecca.  “Conditions may change year to year, but the level of commitment never does.”
