Hair care brand, Briogeo, is expanding its retail footprint with its nationwide, omni-channel launch at Ulta Beauty, beginning January 4. Briogeo will be the first prestige brand to join the retailer’s Conscious Beauty initiative, which certifies beauty brands under five pillars: clean ingredients, cruelty free, vegan, sustainable packaging and positive impact.

Beginning February 2021, products from each of the brand’s collections will be available at the the Salon at Ulta Beauty for a limited time, marking the first time Ulta Beauty has tapped a haircare brand from its Conscious Beauty hair care assortment for entry into its salon.

Founded by Nancy Twine in 2013, Briogeo offers plant-based products for all hair textures and types and maintains an inclusive range of products that meet the needs of a diverse spectrum of women. The brand has received numerous accolades and was recently recognized at CEW’s Women’s Leadership Awards event as part of Indie26 – a listing of 26 outstanding Black female-founded beauty companies disrupting the beauty industry. The full list and brand founder stories is currently available in a Digital Journal, which is available for purchase here.
