Anne Martin-Vachon has been named President of The Shopping Channel (TSC), effective August 16. As President of TSC, Anne will be responsible for driving the retailer’s multiplatform strategy, initiating new areas of revenue and overseeing all operations of the business.

“Anne’s natural leadership ability, proven track record, and incomparable knowledge of the retail industry made her the ideal candidate for this role,” said Rick Brace, President of Rogers Media. “She is a well-regarded professional with vast executive experience and operational expertise that will undoubtedly serve her well at TSC.”

With more than 30 years of experience, Anne has a strong reputation for success in the beauty and cosmetics, consumer packaged goods and retail sectors. Born and raised in Quebec, Anne has held several prominent positions with leading companies and brands, most recently with Home Shopping Network (HSN) as Chief Merchandising Officer. She has also worked in senior roles at Nordstrom, Bath & Body Works and Lise Watier Cosmetiques. Anne’s career began at Procter & Gamble where she worked for more than 20 years in roles of increasing responsibility.

“After working in the U.S., I’m thrilled to return home to a Canadian company and a brand that I’m passionate about,” Anne said. “TSC has done a tremendous job expanding its consumer touch-points and giving shoppers more access to their favorite brands. I look forward to taking that innovation to the next level.”

Anne succeeds Steven Goldsmith, who served as President of TSC from 2012 to June 2016.
