CBD brand Saint Jane has expanded distribution to Sephora.com, beginning May 10, with its Luxury Beauty Serum. The expansion is a big deal for the up-and-coming brand, which is less than six months old.

“The partnership with Sephora is a pivotal moment for us,” said Saint Jane Founder, Casey Georgeson. “Validation from a retailer of Sephora’s magnitude is a game changer for an indie brand like ours. It’s also a homecoming for me, as I was their very first MBA intern while attending Stanford Business School a decade ago. After I graduated, I joined them full time at Kendo, where I developed brands like Marc Jacobs Beauty, Elizabeth and James, Disney for Sephora and Kat Von D.”

Saint Jane joins CBD brands Lord Jones, Farmacy, Herbivore, Flora + Bast and Skin Dope at Sephora.com. Its serum has the highest concentration of any of the CBD offerings with 500-mg of full spectrum CBD. The brand is currently also available at Credo, Barneys New York,  Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Standard Dose, Miss Grass and Fleur Marche.

As part of its launch plan, Saint Jane is looking to drive trial and awareness with a deluxe sample of its Luxury Beauty Serum, to be part of Sephora’s Beauty Insider program. Each product has 50-mg of full spectrum CBD, a high concentration for a trial size. Social media is the brand’s strongest marketing tool, Casey added, because as a CBD brand “we’re still very much constrained in terms of advertising regulations.”
