Talk about a year filled with celebrating women’s empowerment across the globe. And it’s only August!

From the Time’s Up movement to Forbes’ list of female billionaires, it’s never been more relevant to right wrongs, to push women toward achieving whatever they wish, and to recognize them for their accomplishments.

Enter CEW, the preeminent organization for developing the careers of women and men in the beauty industry. On September 21, CEW will honor six women in beauty for their accomplishments, achievements and contributions in front of 1,100-plus peers. No other organization has taken on the role of celebrating female leaders in beauty like CEW—this is at the core of its mission.

“CEW was founded with the singular vision of helping women in the beauty industry achieve, advance and inspire,” said CEW President, Carlotta Jacobson. “We are proud to honor this legacy through our Achiever Awards, which recognizes these accomplished leaders for their significant contributions to the growth of the beauty industry. We look forward to continuing to provide a platform for this important celebration of female empowerment and opportunity, as we have for more than 40 years.”

The executives to be honored with an Achiever Award at the New York Hilton Midtown this fall include Danyelle Boilard-Paul, EVP & GM, Groupe Clarins; Lynn Emmolo, Chief Global Officer, Rodan + Fields; Tiffany Masterson, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Drunk Elephant; Vasiliki Petrou, Global EVP Prestige, Unilever; Tara Simon, SVP Merchandising,

Ulta Beauty. Shoval Shavit Shapiro, Founder and Chief Creative, Amkiri Ltd., will also be honored with The Scent Innovator Award, to be presented by IFF.

The event, which is sponsored by Meredith Corp., will also for the first time bestow the MEN-tor Award, to be presented to Marc Rey, President and CEO, Shiseido Americas, in recognition of his contributions in supporting, mentoring and guiding women executives in the beauty industry.

“Attracting and nurturing talent is at the top of Marc’s leadership agenda. He treats women no differently than men and knows the value of women in leadership positions,” said Jill Scalamandre, President bareMinerals, Buxom, Global Development Shiseido Makeup and CEW Chairwoman.
