CEW has revealed this year’s Achiever Awards Honorees.

Achiever Awards Honorees, which are nominated by CEW’s Board of Governors and selected by CEW’s Achiever Awards Committee, represent women in the industry who have contributed both growth and mentorship within the beauty business.This year’s Honorees are:

Julia Goldin, Global Chief Marketing Officer for Revlon: A relative newcomer to beauty, Julia is credited with breathing new life into Revlon by implementing a number of new plans across the company’s portfolio, including tapping a new roster of celebrity spokesmodels, introducing a re-energized product pipeline and creating a renewed advertising campaign, all while creating a consistent, memorable brand image.


Carolyn Holba, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Maybelline New York, Garnier and Essie: Carolyn has received acclaim for driving the creative vision and strategy for one of the most iconic mass cosmetics brands in beauty. In her role, Carolyn oversees a $1 billion business and more than 70 employees who together have succeeded in creating breakthrough new product innovations, aspirational, yet accessible advertising, exciting brand platforms and disruptive, in-store executions.


Agnes Landau, SVP Global Marketing, Clinique
: Agnes markets one of the largest prestige brands in the world—and by far the number one brand in the U.S. and U.K.She is known for her strategic thinking, positive attitude and her keen understanding of what it takes to develop a global brand. Agnes collaborates with a wide circle of people—outside her own direct reports—to accomplish outstanding results in both revenue and profit.She not only creates and executes 360-degree programs, she has a 360-degree understanding of the business.

Claudia Lucas, Director, Merchandising, Beauty, QVC: Claudia oversees more than $1 billion in beauty sales at QVC. She is credited with nurturing emerging brands, seeing potential in more established brands and serving as a “talent agent” for small up-and-coming brands with the opportunity to make their mark, prior to a larger investment at retail. Claudia and her team work closely with brands to ensure their success on home shopping, very often helping to write the marketing plan and product innovation pipeline, as well.
