It’s no secret that consumers are steadily becoming more vigilant about the food they eat, not to mention all of the ingredients that go into packaged goods. Coffee and milk—a morning ritual for many—is being re-evaluated and replaced with matcha, green tea, hot water and lemon, and homemade almond and rice milk. In addition, consumers want to know how ingredients in products are being sourced, as well as the level of sustainability and philanthropy commitment by the companies who make them.

This conscious-consumer phenomenon is creeping into beauty, yet only a handful of companies have acknowledged and understand the trend. But this is changing.

To educate the current and future owners of beauty, CEW in partnership with Cosmoprof North America, present A State of Clean: Redefining Green Marketing for the New Naturals Consumer to be featured at the upcoming CPNA beauty event in Las Vegas, July 25, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Resort.

The panel will feature Lucie Greene, Worldwide Director, The Innovation Group J Walter Thompson; Romain Gaillard, CEO/Founder, The Detox Market; and Ric Kostick, CEO, Purity Cosmetics and Founder of 100% Pure, each of whom will address the new natural consumer shift, and how businesses need to take a closer look at their values in order to succeed.

Lucie will kick off the panel with a presentation on the next generation of conscious consumerism, including the lifestyle/beauty blur, new natural beauty trends, shifting consumer aspirations and the growing focus on the supply chain by consumers. Romain will discuss how Detox Market’s retail concept, one that nurtures the luxe-eco beauty shift, came to be. And, Ric will unveil part of his company’s 2020 growth strategy, whereby corporate goals have been aligned to meet upcoming consumer trends.
