CEW’s bi-monthly Founder Fridays event, which unites small brand founders to discuss business solutions, is moving to Clubhouse.

Beginning Friday, April 16, CEW will debut in The Beauty Club on Clubhouse for a free live panel that this week will feature Asian beauty brand founders. The panel will be moderated by Michela Wariebi, Makeup Artist, Beauty Educator and Originator of The Beauty Club, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

CEW Founder Fridays launched in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic as a way for small business founders to connect on a virtual platform to discuss business solutions. The advent of Clubhouse, the audio-only live social platform, presents an opportunity for additional brands to access the CEW community, and get a sense of what CEW membership and events provide.

Panelists during the CEW Founder Fridays: Asian-Founded Beauty Brands Clubhouse event will candidly discuss how they’ve grown their brands, overcome business challenges, and how the beauty community can rise up against Anti-Asian discrimination.

Speakers include:

  • Lin Chen – CEO & Founder, Pink Moon
  • Sarah Cheung – Co-Founder, SACHEU Beauty
  • Sophia Hong – Founder, Mask Moments
  • Angela Jia Kim – Founder, Savor Beauty
  • Connie Lo – Co-founder, Three Ships
  • Emily Rudman – Founder, Emilie Heathe
  • Moderator: Michela Wariebi – Makeup Artist, Beauty Educator and Originator of The Beauty Club

Clubhouse is an app available for iPhone users only. To get started on the app, one must receive an invite from a current Clubhouse member. CEW members currently on Clubhouse can “pay it forward” by sharing one of the platform’s invites with a fellow CEW member by clicking here.
