Cosmetic Executive Women UK has tapped Vasiliki Petrou, Senior Vice President of Prestige at Unilever, as its new Chairwoman. She replaces Roisin Donnelly, Brand Director Northern Europe at Procter & Gamble, who is stepping down after 10 years of service on the board, executive board and as Chairwoman.

Vasiliki has more than 23 years’ experience in the personal care and beauty industry. She joined Unilever in November 2012 as Vice President of Personal Care and was named to her current position in January 2014. Prior to Unilever, Vasiliki served in various roles at Procter & Gamble for 17 years, including Global Managing Director for Max Factor.

“Along with the Executive and Board of CEW I am delighted to welcome Vasiliki as Chairwoman of the CEW UK board. The beauty industry and how we conduct business is changing constantly and the next four years of development at CEW are hugely important. I look forward to utilizing Vasiliki’s extensive knowledge and expertise and am confident she can help shape future CEW UK initiatives and growth of the organisation,” said Caroline Neville, President of CEW UK.

CEW UK is based in London and consists of nearly 1,000 members representing about 12 percent of global CEW membership. The chapter is the second largest, behind the US, and ahead of CEW France, which consists of about 530 members, or 8 percent of global membership.
