CEW unveiled its new look Monday, complete with an updated website for both cew.org and CEW Beauty Insider, updated corporate branding and CEW Member Connect, the first-ever social media hub for CEW members.

The branding and website work was collaborated on with Badger & Winters, a Manhattan-based advertising, branding and design agency, and takes CEW’s website to the next level; the corporate tagline has evolved from

Building Leaders to We Move Beauty Forward.

The new branding is based on four key pillars that highlight what CEW delivers to the beauty industry – Recognizing Achievement, Moving Careers Forward, Keeping You One Step Ahead and Leading the Conversation. The new website is built around these four pillars and the layout encourages visitors to explore each of the pillars and what each offers. Cew.org’s other big changes include a bold navigation bar that aims to easily take site visitors to one of several portals, including Membership, Events and the Career Center. Videos are displayed throughout the site, as are numerous photos from CEW’s events and quotes from CEW members. Cancer and Careers’ website is also accessible from the new homepage, as is CEW Beauty Insider, which now allows readers to search by topic.

Perhaps most exciting is CEW Member Connect, the company’s online, interactive community that looks to enhance the value of CEW membership by allowing members to connect via an interactive member directory, discussion groups and a new online mentoring program, CEW MentorMatch. The new member directory and discussion groups look to be a social hub for the industry and give members the ability to instantly connect, share information and build connections in real time with CEW’s 6,000 members. Discussion groups can connect members with similar interests and give them the ability to build their own communities to share information, exchange ideas and benefit from/contribute to the experience and knowledge of their peers. MentorMatch is the only cross-company, online mentoring program for the beauty industry. The tool allows members to establish one-on-one mentoring relationships to provide and gain career insights and advice so they can become better leaders, learn new skills and advance in their careers.
