Every year, Cosmoprof partners with trend foresting agency, Beautystreams, to select the most innovative products presented by the tradeshow’s exhibitors to produce a guide on the main trends set to shape the beauty industry in the coming months. Due to the pandemic, the annual tradeshow was canceled, so for the 2020 edition, the agency sifted through the products the exhibitors uploaded to the online catalog. Their analysis found that in times of unprecedented uncertainty and change, core values are rising to the forefront, centered on wellness, safety for self and the environment, and a purpose-driven mission to do good in one’s community and the world at large.
