Erno Laszlo has named Pamela Kruse as General Manager, a new position, effective April 1. She reports directly to the company’s CEO, Charles Denton. Pamela brings her experience and leadership to the New York-based firm in ecommerce, digital marketing, analytics, editorial and business management where she is responsible for all commercial, marketing, partnership and PR activity in the region, which includes Canada, U.K. and Europe and other global territories. Pamela assumes the responsibilities of CMO, a position vacated one year ago and never filled.

Pamela’s primary objective is to drive accelerated growth in the direct-to-consumer channel through on-site experience and conversion initiatives as well as performance marketing strategies. She will also leverage regional customer intelligence data to execute optimal distribution strategies and to inform product marketing plans. Pamela will also tap into brand appropriate partnerships and press opportunities that align with the core brand values of Erno Laszlo.

Prior to this role, Pamela was a consultant for a variety of brands, including Erno Laszlo. Before consulting, she was VP of Digital Merchandising, Marketing & Promotions at the Bon-Ton stores where she was responsible for all digital sales channels and digital marketing. She also ran eCommerce for the Americas at Burberry and eCommerce and registry at The Knot / XO Group.

Pamela moved into ecommerce after stints with Rodale, Condé Nast and Hearst. At Hearst, Pamela led the full ecommerce build and business launch of ShopBAZAAR.com.

Pamela and her family reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
