GlamGlow and Dollar Shave Club may seem like two unrelated brands, but they have more in common than you think. The Founders of GlamGlow, Glenn and Shannon Dellimore, developed their now iconic YOUTHMUD after a celebrity actor friend lamented about his inability to find a product that made his skin instantly camera-ready. And, the idea of the Dollar Shave Club came about when Co-Founders Mike Dubin and Mark Levine met at a party and bonded over their mutual frustration of buying razors. Both brands were developed to offer solutions and seized the opportunity to turn a small idea into a business once they realized white space in the market existed. Today GlamGlow and Dollar Shave Club have grown into multi-million dollar companies, but their success didn’t happen overnight. Learn the secrets behind how they took their brands from concept to consumer at CEW’s Indie Trailblazers: Elements of Success.

Speaking for the first time at a CEW event, GlamGlow Founders Glenn and Shannon Dellimore, and Dollar Shave Club Founder and CEO Michael Dubin, will discuss what it takes to break into beauty and build a successful indie brand. These entrepreneurs will share their advice for setting your brand apart from the competition, growing beyond startup status and attracting – and maintaining – retail success.

The panel will be moderated by Beauty and Lifestyle Expert, Martha McCully, on Thursday, November 6, at Le Meridien Delfina in Santa Monica at 7:15 p.m. A cocktails networking session, exclusive to CEW members only, kicks off at 6 p.m.
