AmorePacific-owned Laneige, the global Korean skin care and cosmetic brand, will be exclusively entering 150 U.S. Sephora stores beginning in September, and will be sold on the retailer’s website beginning in June. The line initially launched in the U.S. in Target in 2014.

Laneige’s best-selling products include skin care creams, masks and an expanded line of BB Cushions, as well as two-tone lipsticks. Price points for Laneige range from $4 to $39.

The move to Sephora U.S. follows the brand’s success in Sephora Canada; the brand ranks number 10 in skin care in the region.

“Partnering with Sephora in the U.S. will bring even greater access to the best K-beauty advances Laneige offers. We have had a very successful experience with Sephora in Canada and look forward to bringing that same level of passion, energy and exposure to our brand in the US,” says Bradley Horowitz, AmorePacific North America President & CEO.

According to the Korean International Trade Association, exports of skin care and makeup products amounted to $3.97 billion last year, up 44.3 percent from $2.75 billion.Following its unprecedented success in the U.S. as well as South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries, Laneige has reached $840 million globally.
