Sales for at-home beauty devices increased by nearly 14% globally in 2014, according to Kline & Company’s recently published report, Beauty Devices: Global Market Analysis and Opportunities. Europe’s growth for the at-home beauty devices category outpaced the United States, approaching a 25% sales jump. This is an impressive number as other related markets, such as professional skin care, achieved nearly 7% growth.

Notably, sales growth of beauty devices is the most vibrant in Asia, which posted higher growth than the industry average of 17.5% in 2014, according to Kline & Company. China, South Korea and Japan all grew at a rate higher than 27% in 2014.

This high penetration rate across the globe showcases the wealth of opportunities for marketers of beauty devices. So, what’s driving this growth and how should companies position their brands to take advantage of these opportunities? Karen Doskow, Director, Consumer Products, Kline & Company, will discuss this and reveal valuable information to give brands a competitive advantage on June 2 at CEW’s upcoming West Coast Global Trend Report event, “Beauty Devices: Changing the Face of Skincare.” Karen will provide exclusive information on the biggest growth opportunities in the device category; how to create market awareness; and information on the latest technological advancements driving innovation.
