Bari Seiden-Young has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Communications, Citizenship and Sustainability, for The Estée Lauder Companies, effective immediately. She will continue to report jointly to Alexandra Trower, Executive Vice President, Global Communications, and Nancy Mahon, Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability. She has been with the company since 2001.

Among her new responsibilities includes communicating the company’s progress on citizenship and sustainability, and increasing global awareness of the program’s initiatives, which includes the Back-to-M∙A∙C recycling program.

“Bari’s expertise and deep understanding of The Estée Lauder Companies’ commitment to giving back in the communities where we live and work make her ideally suited to take on this expanded role,” said Alexandra.

Bari will continue to oversee The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign (BCC) and Lauder Family Communications, both of which she has led since 2010. Furthermore, as part of her expanded portfolio, she will assume responsibility for the design and execution of global programs to further tell ELC’s narrative and enhance its corporate reputation.
