Lynne Greene, Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., has announced her retirement from the company. Lynne, who has been at Lauder in various roles for nearly 40 years, will exit her position June 30, 2016 with her transition beginning in January 2016.

As a visionary, strategic leader, mentor and forward thinking beauty veteran, CEW will honor Lynne and her contributions to the beauty industry with a Lifetime Achievement Award on October 16 at its annual Achiever Awards event. The award will be presented to Lynne by Carlotta Jacobson, President, CEW, preceded by remarks from Mr. Lauder. Lynne has served on the board of CEW for the past 11 years.

 
Most recently, Lynne oversaw all global aspects of six Lauder brands, including Clinique, Aveda, Origins, Ojon, Darphin and the Men’s Skincare Group. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team and numerous corporate committees. She has been praised for her work in building Clinique, a $2 billion-plus brand globally, according to the firm’s recent Barclay’s presentation.
