L’Oréal Paris, the leader in at-home hair color, recently released what it sees as the hair colors of 2018, Smokey Grays and Rose Golds, along with two new product collections – Superior Preference Rose Blonde and Feria Glam Grunge – allowing people to easily achieve these on-trend shades at home. The shades were selected by the brand’s color designers after months of analyzing hair color trends, studying search data and traveling the world, drawing inspiration from the fashion, design, art, music and automobile industries.

To celebrate gray and grunge, the company is launching Féria Glam Grunge, a hair hue that takes on the smokey undertones of the trend with never-before-seen shades of gray in the mass market. Available in four different shades infused with a jewel tone, colors include Dusty Mauve, Distressed Denim, Vintage Teal and Purple Smoke.

To honor the rose gold trend, L’Oréal is launching Superior Preference Rose Blonde shades, to add warm gold tones to blonde hair. The rose-blonde shades were designed with luminous rosy tones to be universally flattering and to last for up to eight weeks. Rose Blonde, according to L’Oréal Paris, has warm and cool tones and are complementing and flattering all skin tones.

Both Feria Glam Grunge and Preference Rose Blonde will retail for $9.99 beginning in January at lorealparisusa.com.
