The world has changed. And so has how consumers view beauty.

Join Meredith on Wednesday, March 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for a discussion on The Meaning of Makeup, an event that will look into the relationship between the beauty consumer and makeup, and the impact the events of the past year will have on future behaviors.

Opening up the first-ever event will be Ahu Terzi, VP Beauty@Meredith, and Elle Verhelst, Insights Director, Meredith Data Studio. An editorial panel discussion follow, to be moderated by Kate Foster, Founder & VP, SwearBy, and to feature Erica Metzger, Beauty & Fashion Editor, Better Homes & Gardens; Jackie Fields, Senior Style & Beauty Editor, People; Maya Allen, Beauty Director, Instyle. The panel will discuss how consumers are finding, choosing and buying beauty today, and how brands can better serve their needs to develop messaging that will resonate long term.

“Many of our partners are trying to understand how to connect with consumers in this new climate. That’s why we’re leaning into comprehensive programming with Beauty @ Meredith (B@M) Summits this year. Sharing consumer insights and real-world implications is what we do best. These Beauty Summits will help our partners build and strengthen their relationships with the consumer through both proprietary data as well as editorial instinct and predictions,” said Ahu.
