Today’s CEW’s Achiever Awards Luncheon held at the Waldorf Astoria New York drew more than 1,000 people to the Grand Ballroom to celebrate the accomplishments of exemplary female leaders in the beauty industry.

Honorees included Katia Beauchamp, Co-Founder and CEO, Birchbox; Marla Malcolm Beck, CEO and Co-Founder, Bluemercury, Inc.; Beth DiNardo, Global Brand President, Smashbox Cosmetics & GLAMGLOW; Michelle Freyre, President, U.S. Beauty, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. and Sarah Hibberson, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, L’Oréal USA. Unilever received the Women’s Empowerment Award, and The Great Idea Award for Fragrance was presented to Rachel Field, Co-founder & VP of Discovery, Vapor Communications. Alex Keith, President, Global Skin & Personal Care, P&G Beauty, served as the event’s keynote.

Karen Fondu President, L’Oréal Paris USA, was presented with CEW’s Lifetime Achievement Award. “Receiving this prestigious distinction means the world to me as it is a validation of the values, beyond the business contribution, of mentorship and giving back, which have been of the upmost importance to me throughout my career,” she said.
