Nail It!, the very first consumer magazine focusing on all aspects of nails, hits newsstands today.

Dedicated to bringing readers the latest nail trends, readers will find Nail It! packed with articles on nail art, celebrity styles, tips for nail health and wellness, and how nails fit into their overall appearance. For the debut issue’s cover story (see photo above), Nail It! presents a trend pictorial over six pages on how to push pale polish to street chic measures. While nails are the focus of the magazine, columns will also include overall beauty tips, including hair and makeup, as well as trending fashion and accessories.

As first reported on Beauty Insider in August, Nail It! comes from publisher Creative Age, which also publishes leading professional nail magazine NailPro.

Stephanie Lavery, editor in chief of Nail It!, said that the relationships NailPro has established within the nail industry has positioned them to best provide beauty consumers with “reliable and practical information about nails and nail care.”

Deborah Carver, publisher of Creative Age Publications, said of the launch, “There are so many conversations going on about nails; it’s not just about a bottle of color anymore…it’s now a major fashion accessory.”

Nail It! will start as a bimonthly magazine published six times a year with a circulation of approximately 180,000. The premiere issue will have a cover price of $5.99 and hit newsstands in Barnes & Noble, Walgreens, Target, CVS, Duane Reade, supermarkets and where magazines are sold.

The magazine will also be online on www.nailitmag.com.
