AI beauty tech company, Revieve, has announced that it will begin working with Boots and its skin care brand No7, to provide online personalization to its customers.

The partnership looks to bring Revieve’s skin diagnosis capabilities and AI-recommendation engine to the Boots UK and Boots Ireland websites. No7 customers will have access to the Revieve Digital Beauty Advisor, a proprietary self-diagnostic platform that will create a tailored experience for consumers.

To use the platform, consumers take a selfie using the Revieve Digital Beauty Advisor and answer a few questions related to their skin type and any personal skin concerns they would like to improve. Within two minutes, they receive AI-driven product recommendations and personalized skin care advice based on over 100 different metrics and 30,000 images of demographically representative people.

Katie Swift, UK Marketing Director for No7, said, “Now more than ever, we want to be able to offer our consumers the same high level service online as is offered in our stores, should they not be able to get to store. We are excited to partner with Revieve as their technology enables our consumers access to discovering the right products for their skin, paired with a personalised experience from the comfort of their home.”

Sampo Parkkinen, CEO of Revieve, said that the ability to provide consumers with a personalized online experience is the future of the beauty and wellness experience, adding that “No7 is the ideal partner to welcome in this next phase due to their skincare offerings, groundbreaking industry research, and ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of their customers.”

Revieve works with more than 70 brands and retailers across four continents.
