P&G Beauty is looking to connect consumers directly with its latest product and digital innovations with the development of an immersive metaverse experience, BeautySPHERE. Accessible via any desktop, the beautysphere.com website serves up live and simulated video content on a number of topics, from sustainability to transparency to equality and inclusion, underscoring P&G’s Responsible Beauty commitment that includes helping inspire others, advancing progress, and speeding positive change.

In addition, visitors can tune in to interactive livestream panel sessions featuring P&G innovators as well as industry experts, from Twitch streamer Kelsey Impicciche to tech futurist Cathy Hackl. The digital experience includes a journey through the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the world’s leader in plant science. Since 2018, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew has worked with Herbal Essences to identify performance botanicals across the hair care brand’s entire beauty portfolio.

“BeautySPHERE was inspired by our ongoing commitment to find new and surprising ways for people to connect with our brands, products and values,” said Alex Keith, CEO, P&G Beauty, in a statement. “Our hope is that, through these fully immersive, digital experiences, visitors can interact with our brands in surprising, engaging new ways.”

“Outside of BeautySPHERE, these principles drive real-world impact and serve as our blueprint of innovation and product development for generations to come,” said Alexis Schrimpf, Vice President of Design, Global Skin and Personal Care. “We’re excited to share this approach with more people around the world through BeautySPHERE.”
