Procter & Gamble has acquired New Zealand natural skin care brand, Snowberry. The products are sold predominately in China and New Zealand, and on the website truthinaging.com in the U.S.

Bizjournals.com quoted P&G Communications VP, Kelly Vanasse, as saying, “Snowberry brings to our collection of skin care brands unique formulas rooted in the intersection of nature and science. It is a beautiful brand and story with outstanding performance, which makes it a great fit for P&G.”

Snowberry’s portfolio includes a range of items for cleansing and toning, exfoliation, eye care, moisturizing, night care, serums and starter kits. Prices begin at $25 for the So Soft Cleanser and go to $100 for the Intensive Renewal Face Serum with eProlex.

Snowberry will continue to be run by its current team out of New Zealand, bizjournals.com reported. The brand was founded by cosmetician Soraya Hendesi in 2007.

Greg Billington, General Manager of Snowberry New Zealand, said P&G was interested in the brand because of its “use of natural ingredients that combat the aging of skin,” according to the New Zealand Herald.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
