Deborah Yeh, currently Sephora’s Senior Vice President Marketing & Brand, has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. Since joining the beauty retailer in 2012 from Gap Inc., Deborah has been instrumental in differentiating Sephora’s brand experience across all marketing touchpoints,  laying the groundwork for the retailer’s “Let’s Beauty Together” brand ethos to be put into practice. This past year Deborah led her team through the re-launch of the Beauty Insider Loyalty Program and was the executive driver of the massively successful Sephoria experiential beauty event for the retailer’s clients.

Karalyn Smith joined Sephora in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and has been promoted to Chief People Officer, effective immediately. Karalyn has been a key force behind the launch of numerous HR programs and education initiatives that continue to support, develop and reward the people that make Sephora unique. From launching its workplace flexibility program to introducing a more robust maternity leave policy for the Field organization, Karalyn has led an HR team that redefines the total rewards package for more than 16,000 employees. She was also influential in leading the expansion of Sephora Stands programs such as Gift of Time and the launch of Sephora Cares, which provides employee education and resources for people who are affected by domestic violence.
