Class Descriptions

Stress
Stress is something each of us go through, with our individual experience of it manifesting in different ways. Some people are motivated by a degree of stress, while others find it overwhelming and limiting. Join us for an open conversation around this emotion, and how we can better understand our unique relationship to it.

Loneliness
Despite the rise in technological connection and globalization, loneliness remains a pervasive problem within society. Join us for a discussion around what it means to be lonely and how to cope with these feelings as they arise.

Self-Compassion
Compassion is an intuitive response to witnessing the suffering of another, while self-compassion may manifest differently for different people. Join us for an evening of self-compassion: what it is, how it can be developed, and why we often struggle to exercise it.

Boundaries
Appropriate boundaries can lead to monumental increases in emotional, mental, and physical well-being, yet many of us struggle to develop or maintain these healthy limits. During this workshop, we’ll explore the manifestation of boundaries, how to maintain them, and the difference between healthy boundaries and avoidance techniques.

Fear of Missing Out
Navigating social isolation and coping with not being able to maintain social plans, travel plans, and other activities that allow us to feel like we belong can be difficult. Join us for an evening of unravelling this feeling to learn how meditation can be used as a tool to navigate these experiences with kindness.

Restoration
Join us as we learn how to unwind and settle the mind through the development of a daily meditation practice rooted in the body. Besides practicing meditation, we’ll also explore other practical tools that can be implemented day to day to induce a sense of relaxation and overall calmness.

Anxiety
Join us as we explore the manifestation of anxiety within the mind and the force of fear driving its presence. We’ll learn how to use meditative techniques and associated practices to interrupt the cycle of anxiety that keeps us feeling fearful and overwhelmed and instead, develop a sense of mental stability.
