In order to conduct a broad survey on the beauty space from January to June 2017 (H1), Tribe Dynamics compiled a list of the top 30 cosmetics brands by Earned Media Value (EMV), the company’s metric for measuring social media engagement. From this set, Tribe assembled the top 30 products by EMV (excluding collections and collaborations), along with the top 25 hashtags, top 20 product launches, and top 15 collaborations.
