Top Cosmetics Brands:

Cosmetics brands really finished the decade strong, with nearly all of the Top 10 brands enjoying month-over-month EMV increases in December.

Becky G x ColourPop generated $3.5M EMV from 118 content creators.

Too Faced harnessed the power of influencers’ holiday spirit with an L.A. Christmas party, while Fenty Beauty and Haus Laboratories sparked buzz with new launches. Meanwhile, several mass cosmetics brands within and outside the Top 10, including ColourPop, Maybelline, COVERGIRL, Milani and BH Cosmetics, saw significant MoM increases thanks to the popularity of their complexion products and influencer collaborations.

Glow Recipe hosted a Banana Soufflé influencer soirée, prompting content creation featuring the party’s bright yellow decor and banana-themed backdrops.

In December, Glow Recipe inspired a flurry of content creation with the introduction of its new Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream, fêting the launch with a banana-themed influencer soirée in LA. Meanwhile, Fresh moved up in the Top 10 rankings thanks to Boxycharm hype, and Glamglow and Lush broke into the Top 10 with significant month-over-month EMV growth following holiday giveaways.

Meanwhile, Tresemmé enjoyed a significant EMV surge thanks to promotion surrounding the Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray. Finally, Redken jumped two spots in the Top 10, IGK Hair benefited from a Boxycharm bump and L’Oréal Paris Haircare inspired grateful content at its Women of Worth Gala.
