Ulta Beauty has implemented curbside pick-up for about 350 stores across the country. The new initiative serves as an extension of its Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store service, and is meant to supplement Ulta’s app and ecommerce purchasing methods.

The stores chosen for the new initiative were “carefully selected based on an extensive evaluation of local market conditions, including guidance from local and state authorities,” said Ulta Beauty’s CEO, Mary Dillon, in a statement. The service will extend to additional stores in the coming weeks, she added. “To do this right, we have and will continue to implement robust health and safety protocols with our local store associates to ensure all orders are handled following CDC guidelines, limiting contact between our guests and teams.”

The company continues to evaluate re-opening stores. “We are working diligently towards the time when we can welcome all our guests and associates back to Ulta Beauty with new safety processes in place. Until then, let’s take good care of each other.”
