Indie beauty-focused experiential popup, Unfiltered Experience, has formed a joint venture with global B2B media company, U.K.-based Tarsus Group. Unfiltered launched in July 2019 in Las Vegas by beauty industry veteran, Daniela Ciocan, with the goal of spotlighting emerging beauty brands. This month Daniela exhibited at Tarsus Group’s fashion retail event, Offprice Show, providing buyers and boutique owners the opportunity to discover new indie beauty products for their stores.

The partnership will allow Unfiltered to expand its pop-up experience to other markets. The next series will be held April 24-25 at the Magic Box in Los Angeles and will feature indie brand activations, workshops, social media personalities and shopping opportunities. The show will then travel to Chicago on June 19-20, followed by Nashville on Sept. 26-27. Daniela will remain CEO of Unfiltered.

The Unfiltered Experience is the latest addition to Tarsus Group’s portfolio since its acquisition by Charterhouse Capital Partners last year. Under its new ownership, Tarsus has acquired a number of respected events, primarily in the U.S. and Asia, including BizBash, Smarter Shows, Touch China and TyrExpo, with the goal of accelerating growth while strengthening its position as a leading global event organizer.
