After earning a degree in Consumer Marketing in 1987, Wes embarked on a path that landed him in Puerto Rico, where he was tasked with merchandising top-selling fragrance, Giorgio Beverly Hills, throughout the Caribbean. Subsequently, he arrived at Elizabeth Arden and served in various field sales positions, followed by a few years in management and marketing consulting with his father. When an opportunity came to join Quest International as a Fine Fragrance Account Executive, Wes jumped at the position, found his stride and never looked back. Six years later he was recruited away by Firmenich, where he spent over 8 years calling on global accounts, rising to VP of Fine Fragrance.

In 2012, Wes joined MANE as Senior Vice President/General Manager of the US Fine Fragrance group, with the goal of repositioning MANE as a key player in creating innovative and award-winning scents. He strives to elevate MANE’s entrepreneurial culture worldwide, to drive authentic creativity, and to build strong collaborations with all MANE affiliates. His passion is contagious and his efforts have led to successes across all sectors of Fine Fragrance and Specialty Retail. Wes has been credited with building a team that is delivering double digit year-on-year growth, outpacing the industry trend.

In addition to contributing his efforts to the 2016 World Perfumery Congress as member of the Advisory Board, Wes has active roles on boards and committees including The Fragrance Foundation, Fashion Institute of Technology and Beyond Beauty. Mindful of the impact of influential people in his life and career, Wes generously gives his time and attention to students in FIT’s Mentor program. He was honored as their 2015 Mentor of the Year.

Above all else, Wes often says he thinks of himself as a casting director: “It’s about putting the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.”
