Angela Guy is the former Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for L’Oréal NA, the largest subsidiary of the L’Oréal Group, the world’s leading beauty company. Having led the department and strategy for 11 years, Ms. Guy was responsible for shaping the diversity efforts for L’Oréal USA and Canada as a business imperative, highlighting the value of all forms of beauty while respecting and reflecting the differences of our rapidly changing marketplace. She served as a member of the L’Oréal USA Strategic, Nominating and Benefits Committees. She originated and served as Co-Chair of L’Oréal USA’s first DEI Advisory Board and currently serves as a member of this board, and the DEI Advisory Board for L’Oréal SA to collaborate and align L’Oréal’s global diversity efforts. Ms. Guy reported directly to David Greenberg, CEO L’Oréal USA and President L’Oréal NA. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Guy was Senior Vice President, General Manager of the SoftSheen-Carson Brand within the Consumer Division of L’Oréal USA. In this role, Ms. Guy oversaw all aspects of the SoftSheen-Carson brand P&L in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. Ms. Guy also worked for 19 years at Johnson & Johnson in sales leadership positions throughout the USA and Canada; 3 years in Sales with Levi Strauss & Company, Accessories Division, and 3 years in Retail Management with Hills Department Stores. Ms. Guy has a B.A. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She has attended Executive Leadership Programs at the Harvard Kennedy School, University of California Los Angeles, Northwestern University Kellogg School and The Center for Creative Leadership. Ms. Guy is the mother of two and mentor to many. She currently serves as a DEI Consultant and board member of Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice, an Advisory Board member to the Global Diversity Colloquium, and member of the Executive Leadership Council, Inclusion Allies Coalition, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and NAACP.
