Carolyn Bojanowski is the Senior Vice President, General Manager of Ecommerce at Sephora. In her role, Carolyn oversees dotcom merchandising and marketing as well as the dotcom client experience for both US and .CA, ecommerce delivery strategy, client services, and new digital partnerships.

 

In her 15 years at Sephora, Carolyn has held a variety of leadership positions across merchandising, marketing, and digital. She began her career at Sephora as a Dotcom Merchant and transitioned to Brand Marketing, where she played a vital role in the introduction of Sephora’s best-in-class Beauty Insider Loyalty program. Following her marketing role, Carolyn became the Director of Clinical Skincare Retail Merchandising, and later leading as the Vice President of Dotcom Merchandising and .CA. During her time in Canada, she set up their first in-country distribution center, before returning to the US to lead Sephora’s dotcom merchandising.

 

Most recently, with her promotion to lead Sephora’s E-commerce business, Carolyn is positioned to continue to elevate the brand’s industry-leading digital platform. Carolyn and her team will continue to fuel Sephora.com – an L2 Genius Award recipient eight years running – by focusing on bringing brands to life across all of Sephora’s digital properties, including Sephora’s website and mobile app. Additionally, Carolyn will continue to drive our newest digital collaborations with Instagram Checkout and Klarna, while simultaneously seeking out and developing digital partnerships to further enhance Sephora’s online client experiences that cater to our current beauty community as well as broaden Sephora’s reach.

 

Prior to joining Sephora, Carolyn worked in merchandising at Gap Inc. She received her BA at Wellesley College, where she majored in English and Spanish Literature. Carolyn currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons.
