Dena Melnick is the Director of Hair Care at CVS, where she and her team are responsible for all things hair including hair care, hair color, pro salon, hair accessories, hair appliances and the new kids personal care businesses. Throughout her five years at CVS, Dena has become known as the “Queen of White Space,” launching several new businesses at CVS including Claire’s. She is passionate about CVS’ commitment to social justice and equity, not just in the workplace but also ensuring that CVS’s omni-channel assortments meet the diverse needs of all CVS customers.

Her 30+ year career has included working in several merchandising roles at Staples, Macy’s, Stride Rite, Talbot’s and Filene’s. She also was an industry leader with the make-up and skin care company Arbonne International, where she was promoted to Regional Vice President and earned a free Mercedes-Benz! She is especially proud that she helped hundreds of other women learn how to earn an income while working from home (not so common back then) for Arbonne.

Dena graduated with high honors from the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts with her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing.
