Sally Anne Hughes is the founder of Hughes Klaiber, (www.hughesklaiber.com) a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm based in New York City. Sally Anne works with clients to navigate all aspects of the mergers and acquisition process, from initial planning to an exit to a strategic buyer or private equity firm.  Typical clients include entrepreneurs who have founded consumer products companies. Transactions have included the sale of Plant Apothecary to Rare Beauty Brands, the sale of Skeem Design to IUC Brands, the sale of Big City Moms to Sparks Interactive, and the sale of Blow Pro to Farouk Systems. Sally Anne understands the challenges of building a business, and the importance of a successful exit. She began her career with several advertising agencies, and subsequently spent ten years at Citigroup, before founding Hughes Klaiber in 2008. She received an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship.
