Stephanie Trachtenberg’s passion for consumer focused, mission-based marketing has been at the center of her growth and success. With more than 10 years of experience in brand development, she has proven results in driving global brands by assessing market barriers, mining and leveraging insights, creating innovative content and finding white space opportunities.
Her career began in marketing communications at ANN, Inc. where she developed the company’s philanthropic strategy and programs that support women and children’s causes with Ann Cares. The initiative drove recording-breaking contributions and engagement in its first year and continued to strengthen the company’s charitable impact, values and consumer loyalty in the years to come.
After leaving NYC in 2010 to raise her family in Rhode Island, she found a new home at Hasbro. Known for delivering the world’s greatest play experiences, Stephanie increased her career focus on brand management on global mass market brands including Play-Doh and Baby Alive while at Hasbro. Stephanie was an instrumental lead in propelling the expansion and global success of top-tier brands by delivering go-to-market strategies, break frame marketing campaigns and product innovations.
In 2019, the stars aligned as Stephanie found herself at the helm of a portfolio of mass market consumer brands for women at Clio, based outside Boston, which included a line of sexual wellness products – plusOne “toys” for women. With a message focused on empowering women to own their sexual wellness, Stephanie turned the collection of products into an established mainstream brand within a year, quickly taking the #1 Nielsen ranking position. She also developed a line of innovative beauty tools for an “at home spa experience” with Plum Beauty, which continues to gain traction in the marketplace.
One year later, she doubled down on the sexual wellness category and is now taking the Satisfyer brand to new levels as Director of Marketing and PR for the Americas. Once again part of a global organization, Stephanie is leveraging her international brand management expertise to lead Satisfyer’s mission around empowerment and education while establishing Satisfyer as a global lifestyle brand.
Stephanie’s success in FDM marketing earned her a Rising Star Award from Drug Store News in 2019. She was also a speaker at the 2019 Women’s March on NYC. Stephanie remains based in Rhode Island with her husband and two sons and is dedicated to her community, serving on the board of Temple Emanu-el in Providence.
