Nordstrom, Inc.

Debra Redmond has served as the Vice President, Division Merchandise Manager for Beauty at Nordstrom since 2018. She and her team are responsible for all beauty buying operations for both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack- inclusive of service and experiences for Spa Nordstrom and Beauty Haven at Nordstrom locations.

A forward-thinking, passionate champion for responsible business, Debra has led several strategic initiatives over the past four years dedicated to sustainability, inclusivity and innovation. When she saw the opportunity to impact waste in the industry, she helped pioneer Nordstrom BEAUTYCYCLE, guiding the company to become the first major retailer to offer beauty packaging recycling for all brands. She also encourages brands to create more sustainable products, from ingredients to packaging, giving customers more choices to shop their values. Her passion and dedication to inclusivity is equally evident as she and her team launched several BIPOC brands across all categories to better serve our communities. Her continued efforts support the company’s commitment to deliver $500M in retail sales from brands owned by, operated by or designed by Black and/or Latinx individuals by 2025.

Debra joined Nordstrom nearly 25 years ago as a makeup artist in the Dallas Galleria beauty department. Following that, Debra went on to hold various positions in the company including department manager, buyer, store manager for a number of stores and prior to her current role, supported stores as a regional manager for Nordstrom Rack.
