Prices of certain Estée Lauder beauty products have seen a price increase this month in Korea, according to a report in Korea’s JoongAng Daily. The beauty giant, the report said, increased the price of several of its products by an average 2 percent, including its best-selling Advanced Night Repair serum and Lightweight Re-Nutriv Crème. La Mer’s iconic Creme de La Mer is up from 385,000 won to 392,000 won, and some of M.A.C.’s eye and lip color cosmetics increased between 1,000 and 3,000 won from their original prices.

“Like other companies, we examine and decide on our product prices on a regular basis to consider cost factors,” said a spokesman for Estée Lauder Korea. “The recent hike was prompted by increases from various expenses and costs.”
