Top packaging developers, marketing executives and creative visionaries are all gearing up to attend LUXE PACK NEW YORK, a B-to-B tradeshow offering creative packaging solutions for the beauty, fragrance, wine and spirits, and fine foods industries. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the annual gathering, which is expected to draw more than 3,600 industry executives to Pier 92 in Midtown Manhattan on May 10 – May 11.

This year’s theme, “Igniting Packaging Innovation Through Alternative Worlds,” will be integrated throughout the two-day event in a way that organizers hope will provide a “visually dynamic, inspiring, and insightful experience,” said an event spokesperson. As part of this, a new wall will be on display featuring the most impressive product packaging of the year, and will serve and an opportunity to source newness and inspiration. Another special exhibition will be hosted by Material ConneXion, a global materials and innovation consultancy, which will offer a visual display of “out of box” and “alternate world” materials. To round out the theme, John Morgan, Global Senior Research Scientist, Discovery Open Innovation, AMWAY, has been tapped to lead a new workshop, “Igniting Packaging Innovation Through Alternative Worlds,” which will feature interactive exercises on alternative worlds methodology to break traditional thinking and jumpstart packaging creativity.

In addition to the themed events, attendees can expect to see a diverse array of product development and solutions from over 230 global manufacturers and suppliers. Additionally, a robust lineup of panels will be held covering topics such as packaging trends, global digital marketing insights, and innovative design management solutions.

Due to its popularity last year, LUXE PACK is bringing back “Turbo Talks,” an event that provides exhibitors the opportunity to go “beyond the booth” and pitch a 2-minute product or solution directly to attendees who may need their services.

Finally, to keep sustainability in the forefront of the creative packaging industry, the In Green Award, will be given to two exhibitors that have exemplified impactful sustainable products or an effective internal CSR initiative. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on the evening of May 10. The tradeshow is free for industry executives.
