On Wednesday night hundreds of beauty executives gathered at The Union League Club to hear Mike George, CEO of Qurate Retail Group, talk about the newly merged company, which include eight businesses (QVC, HSN and Zulily among them) and what this means for beauty.
Mike is set to discuss the recent merger of HSN and QVC, as Best practices for succeeding on the Qurate’s various platforms which includes, QVC, HSN, zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road and Improvements.
So says Mindy Grossman, chief executive officer of HSN, who in a move to encourage consumers to visit the shopping site—without feeling pressured to buy something—introduced the HSN Arcade, a gaming portal for women that offers crossword, backgammon and solitaire among its dozens of game options.
