David Kang is the Product Marketing Manager across creator products at Snap Inc., where he oversees product and go-to-market strategy for Snap’s investment areas in creators on the platform. Prior to joining Snap, David was an early member of the Creator Monetization team at Instagram, focused on growth, business operations, and policy. Before Instagram, David led the scaling of Facebook Reality Labs’ global operations to build a privacy-centric voice assistant on Portal, Oculus, Ray-Ban Stories, and other big-bet AR/VR hardware products on the company’s roadmap.
David is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he studied international business and marketing, and led research on how new technologies – such as AR – are impacting consumer behavior in the retail space. A born-and-bred Californian, he currently resides in New York City.
